Café Aymoré
Café Aymoré Review
This is a local favorite for regional specialties such as maniçoba (stew with various cuts of pork—including feet and head—and cassava leaves) and vatapá (shrimp in flour and African palm oil). If you have more exotic taste, it's the only restaurant in town with government consent to serve tartaruga (turtle). There are also regional ice creams made from acai, tapioca, as well as many flavors from the Amazon.
