Trout, trout, and more trout is served at this restaurant next to river teeming with—you guessed it—trout. The fish is prepared as appetizers in pâté or in a cassava-dough pastry. Entrées include grilled trout and trout cooked in almond sauce, mustard sauce, or orange sauce. The rustic restaurant (its name is Portuguese for trout, by the way) seats only 22, so reservations are a must. On weekdays, Trutas is open only to parties of six or more that have booked in advance.
