Fodor's Review:

Tribal masks peer down from the walls of the large, modern dining room. Consider the Thai huan-hin (chicken with shiitake mushrooms in ginger sauce and rice) followed by a dessert of lemon ice cream with baba de moça (a syrup made with egg whites and sugar). An eclectic menu also includes Italian, Brazilian, and Bahian dishes.

I was craving Thai food and it's very difficult to find in Sao Paulo. Mestico was a solid blend of Bahia and Thai selection including a pad thai plate with fresh shrimp. Incredible. Great atmosphere and bar while you're waiting. I recommend reservations: (11) 3256-3165 or 3259-1539
