Fodor's Review:

Both guests and furnishings are well cared for in this small hotel near the Largo do Arouche, a charming downtown district overtaken by the gay crowd at night. A brass-accented basement bar features live piano music. The lobby has upholstered print sofas, an abstract handcrafted black-and-white wall hanging, and granite flooring. Rooms are done in beige and blue and have marvelously large, sunlighted bathrooms.
