Pavilhão Japonês Review

An exact replica of the Katsura Imperial Palace in Kyoto, Japan, the Japanese Pavilion is also one of the structures built for the park's inauguration. It was designed by University of Tokyo professor Sutemi Horiguti and built in Japan. It took four months to reassemble beside the man-made lake in the Japanese-style garden with a goldfish-filled lake. The main building displays samurai clothes and pottery and sculpture from several dynasties. Rooms upstairs are used for traditional tea ceremonies.
