Canto da Ema

Fodor's Review:

Canto da Ema is considered the best place to dance forró in town. Here you'll find people of different ages and styles coming together on the dance floor. Xiboquinha is the official forró drink, made with cachaça (a Brazilian sugarcane-based alcohol), lemon, honey, cinnamon, and ginger. Doors open at 10:30 PM Wednesday-Saturday and it's open 7-midnight on Sunday; admission is R$12-R$18.
