Dine indoors in this relaxed spot, or make like the locals and enjoy your meal alfresco, propped against the harbor wall across the street: the wall doubles as a makeshift table, and waiters run to and fro delivering orders. You can enjoy a cold beer and some finger food while you contemplate the menu—cold dishes, such as the tomato and palm-heart salad are good, as are the Portuguese-influenced hot dishes, among them fried fish fillet with rice and creamed spinach. Bar e Restaurante Urca breaks with tradition and serves feijoada on Fridays instead of Saturdays, and at a good price for what you get: R$64 for two.
