A member of the Windsor chain that was remodeled in 2001, the Guanabara is one of the few solid hotel choices right in Centro. Rooms are reasonably sized and tastefully done in brown and beige. The restaurant serves elaborate buffet meals. The contemporary rooftop pool area, with its stunning views of Guanabara Bay, absolutely gleams thanks to its pristine white tiles, white trellises, and white patio furnishings.
