Cipriani
Cipriani Review
This restaurant is housed in the plush environs of Copacabana Palace, overlooking the hotel's enormous pool. Start with a Cipriani, champagne with fresh peach juice (really a Bellini), and then take your pick from an extensive North Italian menu that includes appetizers like sea-bass salad with fava beans and burrata cheese, and excellent mains such as wild-rice risotto with asparagus and squid. The freshly made pasta dishes are prepared with great care, and the meat and fish entrées are appropriate to their lavish surroundings. Service, as one would expect, is excellent. The degustation menu is R$240, or R$380 with wine.
