Built so that it dominates Vidigal, between Leblon and São Conrado, this is the only hotel in Rio with a "private" beach. (It's open to the public, but so closed off to anything but the hotel that usually only Sheraton guests use it.) Guest rooms are tastefully decorated, and all have balconies with sea views, although some are very limited. Floors in the Towers section are reserved for business travelers. Be prepared for numerous taxi rides because of the hotel's isolated location.
