Everest Rio Hotel Review

With standard service but a great rooftop view—a postcard shot of Corcovado and the lagoon—this hotel is in the heart of Ipanema's shopping and dining district, a block from the beach. Back rooms have sea views, but the hotel lacks any compelling decor and some carpets look a little worn. However, there are good amenities for business travelers. The restaurant Restaurante Grill 360°, on the top floor close to the swimming pool, has grilled lean meats, seafood and some specialties from the south of Brazil. There's also a bar on the ground floor, serving light meals and nibbles.
