Adventure Hostel Review

In the heart of Ipanema, this hostel, opened in 2005, has double and quadruple rooms and is on a par, in terms of quality of rooms and service, with many more-expensive hotels. You must rent bath and beach towels. The bedrooms, shared bathrooms and public areas are all sparkling clean, and there is security on site all night. It's just a few blocks from the beach and Ipanema's best restaurants and shopping. The hostel organizes many city tours and ecological tours (not included in nightly rate). Cheaper for Hostelling International (HI) mmbers.
