Fodor's Review:

The ultimate in Brazilian churrascaria experiences, Porcão has bow-tied waiters who flit between linen-draped tables, wielding giant skewers, and slicing you portions of sizzling barbecued beef, pork, and chicken until you say uncle. The buffet is huge, with salads, sushi, and, on Saturdays, more than 15 types of feijoada. (Hats off if you can do churrasco and feijoada in one sitting!) Porcão is a chain, with four restaurants in Rio—including the one in Ipanema—and another in the suburb of Niterói, but the nearly floor-to-ceiling windows with a view over Guanabara Bay to the Sugar Loaf make the Flamengo branch our top choice.

I´ve never seen such a good place like that. Firslty, the location and wonderful view of sugar loaf are marvelous. Secondly the brazilian barbecue is great! Porcao has a huge variety of meat, chicken, lamb, fish...they have also sushi and salad, which means that even if you are a veggie, you can have lunch there. The service is great! Highly recommend that!

I've never seen anything like this restaurant before! Besides being a nice place to dine, the food is spectacular. All the foreigners I've talked to while down here say the same thing: Porcao is the best in quality when it comes to "churrascarias"(steakhouses). I took my chances, went and was not disappointed! You'll do well skipping breakfast if you're going for lunch.

We went to the Flamengo branch and enjoyed being seated on a corner with floor to ceiling glass overlooking the bay and Sugarloaf... There is a big salad bar and so much meat brought to your table... it was a good value for the money spent...
