Fodor's Review:
Modern Sound was a traditional shop that turned into a self-designated megamusic store. Aside from the 50,000 CD titles -- which include lots of rarities -- the store carries music equipment and accessories and has a charming bistro, where live music, from jazz to bossa nova, is played by the finest carioca musicians.
