Ipanema Plaza Review

European standards and solid service are the hallmarks of this hotel. The rooms are large, with white-tile floors and modern facilities, and the decor is tastefully tropical. In the center of Ipanema, very close to the beach, the hotel is on a street that's rife with restaurants and bars. From the rooftop pool it's possible to see not only the ocean, but also the lagoon and the statue of Christ the Redeemer. In 2005 the hotel introduced Ipanema Floor—an executive floor with all the bells and whistles, including rooms and suites with spectacular views over Ipanema Beach, elegant Italian fixtures, and fine linens with impossibly high thread counts.
