Vegan restaurants are rare in Rio, but this is small, friendly eatery has carefully prepared dishes free of any animal products that go much beyond brown rice or burdock. There's a hearty lunch buffet (R$26, daily until 5.30), and the Saturday feijoada, prepared with smoked tofu, tempeh, kale, and farofa, is a real treat.
