Feira Nordestina

Fodor's Review:

The crowded, lively Feira de São Cristovão, better known as the Feira Nordestina (Northeastern Fair) is a social event for Brazilians from the northeast living in Rio. They gather to hear their own distinctive music, eat regional foods, and buy tools and cheap clothing. If you can't get to that part of the country, come here for a very unique experience. It's opens Tuesday-Thursday 10-4 and from Friday at 10 AM until Sunday at 11 PM (continuously).
