Fodor's Review

Claude Troisgros, of the celebrated Michelin-starred Troisgros family of France, today runs something of an empire of upscale restaurants in Rio, and this is his original and most celebrated venture. Troisgros creates the menu together with his equally talented son Thomas, applying nouvelle-cooking techniques to meals with all-Brazilian ingredients. Cases in point include quail stuffed with raisin and onion farofa (seasoned manioc flour) served with a kale confit, and duck with passion-fruit jus. At lunch on weekdays (1–4), there's a three-course set menu for R$115.
