This simple, homey restaurant is the best place to experience comida goiana (food from the state of Goiás) and friendly goiano service. At lunchtime a buffet includes such dishes as arroz com pequi (rice with souari nuts) and galinhada (chicken cooked with rice and berries). Pequi with rice and chicken is a specialty of the region, but don't bite through the fruit—you'll get a tongue full of painful spikes. The dinner menu includes fish dishes such as peixe na telha (fish cooked in earthenware bowl).
