This stylish boutique hotel, run by a New Zealand couple, is the best place to stay in town. The interiors throughout this renovated old home are beautifully designed. The guest rooms are charming, with wooden floors, well-chosen furniture, and huge welcoming beds that pamper with possibly the best sheets in all of Bolivia. Bathrooms are cool and spacious.

- a little removed from the center, and walking here can be laborious in the heat (taxis are cheap, though)
