Museo Nacional de Arte

Museo Nacional de Arte Review

Commissioned by a Spanish noble in 1775, the National Art Museum holds three stories of paintings and sculpture. The first floor is devoted to contemporary foreign artists; the second to works by Melchor Pérez Holguín, considered to be the master of Andean colonial art; and the third to a permanent collection of Bolivian artists. You can also relax in the central courtyard beside the lovely alabaster fountain.
