Fodor's Review

When the Spanish wine group Codorniú decided to invest in Argentina, they constructed their winery in the pirca style of the Huarpe natives by piling stones one atop the other. The end result is both practical (it helps keep the winery naturally cool) and visually arresting. Tours of Séptima's state-of-the-art interior, with its sleek wood and glass corridors, are available. The highlight of the winery is the large terrace, which has a panoramic view over the vineyards and mountains; enjoy it to the fullest by ordering lunch at the terrace restaurant.
