This intimite bistro in a converted house right off of Plaza Italia oozes casual charm. The courtyard patio—with only a few tables, eclectic music playing, and potted geraniums taking over the brick walls—is perfect for a romantic dinner. Choice local produce is used by the chef, Sebastian Flores, so the menu often changes depending on what's in season. This is non-pretentious gourmet comfort food: think pumpkin-and-almond raviolis, mushrooms au gratin, asparagus and sun-dried tomato foccacia, and a great selection of meats, all perfectly prepared. The wine list is decent, and the dessert selection is inventive (depending on the season, try to end with the strawberry-black pepper-mint soup with cream gelato).
