Founded in 1922, this winery is a fusion of tradition and technology. Gold adobe walls, arched doorways, and wine casks filled with flowers give it an Old Spanish air, but inside everything is state-of-the-art. Lots of care goes into irrigation, growing the grapes on espalderas altos (espaliers) or parrales (trellises), selecting grapes on the vine, hand harvesting, and hand crushing. The owner leads some of the tours.
