Founded in 1930 by Juan Balbi and now owned by Allied Domecq, this winery has a reputation for making a French-influenced wine, as they bring in wine consultants from Bordeaux every season. Changes in winemaking techniques seem to be moving their wine toward a more readily drinkable style, as they blend grapes from the Valle de Uco and San Rafael.
