This charming complex of cabins and bungalows, painted a deep berry purple, is high above Ushuaia in the woods at the base of the ski lift to the Martial glacier; each spacious room has an extremely comfortable bed and a small wooden deck with terrific views down to the Beagle Channel. The cabañas are beautiful self-contained log cabins with floor-to-ceiling windows, a Jacuzzi, and a spectacular fireplace in the living room. A spa is housed in its own cottage, the Cabanas de Taza de Té café is also on the premises, and a small nature trail takes you through the lenga trees along the Martial River. There is, however, no complimentary shuttle service to town, so you'll need to take a AR$30 taxi to access Ushuaia.
