Centro de Interpretación Review

The detailed, up-to-date displays at Los Esteros de Iberá's Interpretation Center provide an excellent introduction to the local wildlife and the reserve's history. There's also a screening-room showing different short documentaries about wetland flora and fauna. Families of capybara often sunbathe outside, sometimes joined by small alligators.

Sendero de los Monos. Across the road from the Interpretation Center is a short forest walk known as the Sendero de los Monos for the families of howler monkeys that live high in its trees. It only takes 10 minutes to walk, but you'll need to linger longer (in patient silence) to see the monkeys. Early morning and evening are the best times to catch a glimpse of them.
