Sarmiento and the Bosque Petrificado
Getting Here and Around
There are several daily bus services between Sarmiento and Comodoro Rivadavía run by Etap and Don Otto. The latter also has services to Esquel and Bariloche. Buses arrive at the bus station at 12 de Octubre and Avenida San Martín, which runs through the center of town.
Sarmiento is only 15 blocks long and eight blocks wide, and can be walked easily, but if you get tired or would like to arrange a trip outside of town, there are various remiserías along Avenida San Martín.
