This hostel is regularly rated among the ten best in South America, with good reason: Dorm and private rooms are all spotlessly clean, well laid out, and have underfloor heating. Staff members treat you like their new best friend, speak sparkling English and are full of useful advice and tips. A communal barbecue kicks off each evening, and attracts most guests. The dining room and split-level common area have two-story floor-to-ceiling windows with spectacular views of Lago Argentino. Those views come at a price: a 10-minute uphill walk along a dirt road from downtown.
