Miyazato Inn Review

Jorge Miyasato and his wife Elizabeth have brought the flawless hospitality of a traditional Japanese country inn to El Calafate; each of the five rooms has hardwood floors, comfortable twin beds, and rice paper lampshades, and a sun-drenched dining area sits just off the lobby/lounge. Rampant construction has spread from downtown and it's encroaching on the serenity of this hotel, but it's more than made up for by Jorge's warm welcome and encyclopedic knowledge of the region. The Miyasatos have two children, and the family atmosphere makes this cozy inn a refuge of intimacy and calm.
