Cuchi Corral

Cuchi Corral Review

Cuchi Corral, in the hills west of La Cumbre, is a vast natural balcony with views over the Río Pinto valley. Once used by indigenous communities for spiritual rituals, it now sees another kind of natural high: paragliding. With a drop of 402 meters (1,319 feet), Cuchi Corral is Argentina's top spot for the sport, and international championships are held here every March. Even if you can't take the leap, stop by for the views, and if you've got transport, wind your way down to the riverside restaurant at the bottom—it's a very peaceful place and good for a dip in the water on a hot day.
