El Paraíso

El Paraíso Review

El Paraíso, a museum that was once the home of writer Manuel Mujica Láinez, is nestled in the posh hilltop neighborhood of Cruz Chica, overlooking La Cumbre. Displays consist of his personal effects, including a 15,000-strong library and objects collected from his extensive travels, and exhibitions of work by local artists. But you should stop by just to soak up the atmosphere in its rooms and its gorgeous gardens, which were designed by Carlos Thays.
