Rooney's Boutique Hotel Review

The former boarding house on the third floor of a century-old building is evocative of French elegance, such that one would expect to find Marie Antoinette herself lolling about in the teal living area or in one of the guest rooms, all outfitted in unique pieces of antique, refurbished furniture. Argentine poet Leopold Lugones once occupied a room here, and the high ceilings, decorative tiles, original wood floors, and stained glass from his time remain. Black-and-white 1920s photographs from the Argentine National Archive, some including Lugones, decorate the walls in the ample common and breakfast areas. Vogue Mexico and pop group Miranda! have used the hotel for shoots.
