Palermitano Review

Palermitano occupies a spot on one of the chicest strips in Palermo Soho, more than holding its own against neighboring see-and-be-seen Isabel Bar & Restaurant and upscale eateries Casa Cruz and Sipan Restaurant, which Palermitano actually houses within its own building and which guests use for breakfasts. Englishman David Collins designed the hotel, and it's noticeable he considered every fixture and corner to put forth a cohesive look. Rooms are modern with a touch of rustic comfort, thanks to oak floors and a color scheme of tans and burnt oranges accenting the rooms. Staff leave handwritten welcome notes and Argentine chocolates on the beds for guests, as well as organic bath products in the marble bathrooms.
