La Baita

La Baita Review

In a city filled with first- and second-generation Italians, it can be surprisingly hard to find a good Italian meal. Look no further than La Baita, a cozy corner spot in the heart of Palermo Soho that attracts highbrow porteños and Europeans looking for some Mediterranean cuisine. They do fantastic fresh pastas and nice meat dishes, including rabbit and lamb. The main dining room is quaint, and some of the tables are too close together, but the romantic atmosphere, live music, and friendly service make up for it.
