It was built for the 1978 World Cup, which Argentina hosted and won, and it doesn't look like it's had much of a touch-up since. All the same, the price is right, the staff is helpful, and the rooms are cozy. If you get one on the street side, even the double plated windows aren't likely to drown out the noise of the motorbike mail couriers zipping by. Ask for a room at the back. The restaurant serves up tasty, affordable dishes.
