It's run by Argentine Patricia O'Shea and her British husband, Tom Rixton, a well-known music producer, and it oozes coolness and class. Each distinct room is decorated with vintage French wallpaper and has a stereo, a laptop friendly safe, and either a bathtub or a wet room. On site there's a vast garden; a barbecue area; an infinity pool; a holistic spa; and a funky lounge bar where you can sip a cocktail and listen to mood music created especially for the hotel by famed record producer Flood (U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails), one of the hotel's investors.

Standard room was nice and very comfortable. The staff was awesome. Breakfast was light but very very tasty. The massage at the spa was the best I've ever had (made extra nice by a half hour tub soak first). Location is good, with some hip bars and restaurants a couple blocks away and the main Palermo Soho area about 8 blocks away. We loved our stay (and did I mention that the staff was awesome?)!!!
