Carpincho
Carpincho Review
Specializing in stippled carpincho leather from the capybara—the world's largest rodent, native to Argentina—which has supersoft skin, the main attraction are the gloves, which come in carpincho and kidskin and in many lengths and colors, from classic chocolate brown to tangerine and lime.

Last July I walked into this tiny hole in a wall shop. The glass door had a picture of Capybara, the largest Rodent in the world facing extinction.Part curious ,part seriously looking for some leather goods to buy,I walked in.Staff was welcoming and gracious. With my limited Espanol,I managed to buy a few things made from Capybara/carpincho.It had the most selection of gloves in multitudes of colors and jackets and coats.Natural color is brown or tan.My red/Rojo gloves fit like my own skin.Well tailored and portion of the profit goes to conservation of their habitat and products are made from mature farmed animals like cows.Unlike Chinese fur farms, they do not face cruel death .I support this store and will go there again to buy a pair of lime green gloves! Online is available but shipping makes gloves to be $150 a pair.Don't miss it as it is a small store!!Love it.
