Mark's Deli & Coffee House
Mark's Deli & Coffee House Review
The first deli to arrive in Palermo Viejo, Mark's has been steadily drawing crowds for all-day munching (it's open 8:30 am-9:30 pm) with big sandwiches and salads. It's also become something of a scene for twentysomethings with New York fetishes—and perhaps unsurprisingly, also a top choice for brunch. Ingredients are top quality, combinations inventive, and the large variety of breads—the house specialty—is baked on premise. Tastefully mismatched tables, chairs, and sofas are available if you want to eat in; there's also a small patio if you want some sun. The cheesecake in itself is an excuse for a visit. Be warned though: service is always slow.
