Barolo

Fodor's Review:

Its opening in 1998 helped to spark Palermo Hollywood's emergence as a dining mecca. It's on a quiet street in an old town house done up in bright green and mauve. Don't miss the Patagonian lamb or the risotto with cognac-sautéed sweetbreads, spinach, Gruyère cheese, and Chardonnay. Wines of the month are chalked up on a blackboard over the bar.
