Four Seasons Hotel Buenos Aires

Pros

  • All the class you'd expect
  • Wonderful eateries
  • Swanky bar

Cons

  • The pool is outdoors, making it ideal for sunny spring and summer days but unusable in winter

Fodor's Review

A $49 million renovation in 2013 rendered this hotel even grander than before—quite a feat for what was already one of the city's swankiest lodgings. An upscale equine theme runs throughout, as evident with the contemporary horse sculptures on the front lawn and the hotel's Pony Line Bar, which always attracts a smart crowd. You'll even find tiny horses in the design of the guest rooms, which are modern, bright, and luxe. The hotel's two restaurants—Elena and Nuestro

Secreto—are among the best in the city. The neighboring mansion draws some of the world's most famous folks, including Madonna (who stayed here while filming Evita) and the Rolling Stones.

Adequate Four Seasons Property

The Four Seasons brand promises excellent service, accommodations, restaurants and health club facilities, and the Buenos Aires property does not disappont. However, our recent 4 night visit found the service to be friendly but not proactive and the accommodations to be adequate but not special when compared to other properties like Mexico City.

Excellent stay

Everyone at the hotel was fabulous to us. Every staff member addressed us by name and went far beyond the call to accomodate and help us. The best service by far in BsAs.

Best Hotel in B.A.

Great, friendly but professionial service; excellent location; large, newly remodeled rooms in a nice, contemporary style; great food at the bar and restaurant; exemplary concierge who give you their honest opinions. We planned to stay at the Alvear Palace, but found this hotel to be a much better choice, as the Alvear seems a bit dated.

Won't Cry for me at this Hotel...

Very nice Hotel and excellent location. Near everything. Served by a very young staff eager to please you, as soon as you arrive they will call you by name. Punctual and excellent room service & great breakfast buffet also. Great and prompt concierge- even though they should have more touring options available. They only have 3 or 4 to chose from. Fantastic spa- great massages you will never forget. Ask for Oscar- you will not regret it! Very

clean steam rooms and saunas- an unexpected plus! There were some minor problems- like the wireless internet connections not working, or the airconditioning not cooling (due to electrical cuts- not the hotel's fault). The rooms are nothing to rave about- they are clean and comfortable. Nothing special-
