Much like the neighborhood in which it resides, El Globo is touristy but good. Hearty pucheros (mixed boiled meat dinners), roast suckling pig, squid, and other Spanish-Argentine fare are served in a large dining area, as they have been since the restaurant opened in 1908. The cazuela de mariscos (seafood stew) is another specialty.

1 langostino plate (6 cold shrimp)
1 pulpo (squid)
$180AR - this is madness...i have been dining well, including high-end tourist, never exceeding $100AR!!!
Squid was not bad, with potatoes. The shrimp was horrific, the spine was not even removed - black and staring at you from the plate, cold - I had much better at any grocery, cold shrimp cocktail.
Should've asked, so yes my fault, but then again no prices on the menu (englais).. BE CAUTIONED!
