Club Sirio
Club Sirio Review
This is where local foodies in the know come for Syrian food. Walk up a curved, marble staircase to the lobby bar of this breathtaking second-floor Syrian restaurant. Expect hummus, stuffed grape leaves, and lamb in the superb Middle Eastern buffet. Belly dancers entertain Wednesday through Saturday, and coffee-ground readers predict fortunes. You can order a narguilah (large water-filtered tobacco pipe) to finish things off in Syrian style. The place lacks charm and is a bit tired, but the intriguing (by BA standards, at least) cuisine makes it worth a visit.

I brought my parents and wife here. This place rocked. The food was fantastic (both plates, cold and hot), the belly dancer was a pro (bring pesos to tip her), and the service was stellar (quick and friendly). The price was a steal for an unlimited supply of food. We went on a Wednesday night. There weren't a ton of customers which could be why we were so excited about the superb service. The funniest part of the night was someone in the back at a table reading fortunes with a cup of coffee!
