Don't let Casa López's drab store-front put you off: you're as likely to find a trouser suit in flower-print suede as a handbag for grandma. It's a store in two parts: the right-hand shop (Number 658) has totes and soft-sided suitcases in chestnut- and chocolate-colored leather that looks good enough to eat; there are also classic jackets. More unusual fare -- fur sacks with natural wool fringes, black cowhide baguettes, aubergine leather clutches -- are next door at Number 640.
