There's no question that this high end French dining room in the Sofitel is a lovely restaurant. It's also a bit of a relic from another era, a place where traveling business executives sit over large steaks or veal chops and discuss deals while wealthy hotel guests stay cocooned inside rather than venture into the streets of the city. The menu is somewhat limited, and while of high quality, is basically "hotel fare" in that there's nothing outstanding that might jar anyone's sensibilities. Service is correct and formal, if a trifle fussy.
