Fodor's Review

This enchanting boutique hotel is owned and operated by two German expats who personally see to it that you receive the most thoughtful and personalized service starting the minute you walk in the door. The inviting property smartly combines the charm of the original 1930s-era building with up-to-the-minute amenities. Walls painted in deep colors, ebony floors, and wooden furnishings are found throughout the common areas and in each of the rooms, most of which also feature

crystal chandeliers and cast-iron balconies. The hotel's wine cellar stores superb Argentine vintages, and the on-staff sommelier regularly hosts wine tastings complete with delicious finger foods.

A little gem in Palermo...

We stayed at the Mira Vida Soho for 3 nights. It was far more like staying at the VERY nice home of a friend...a friend who knows and loves Buenos Aires and can enhance and enrich your stay there. The breakfast is wonderful and the wine tasting not to be missed. It's also in a superb, tree-lined location that reminded us the nicer parts of Brooklyn. A real find!
