Fodor's Review

For a glimpse of early-20th-century high society, look no further than this hotel, where exquisite rooms are decorated with classic wood furnishings and period murals. Tango legend Héctor Villalba painstakingly transformed this century-old mansion into both a hotel and a tango academy. A stunning chandelier, sweeping staircase, and original artwork lend more authenticity. Tango lessons take place daily in the gorgeous dance hall, and once a week a milonga, an all-night tango party, takes place on-site.
