Fodor's Review:

Priceless paintings from the Museo Pedro de Osma hang in each room in this luxurious lodging. The hacienda-style hotel, dating from 1927, is itself a work of art. Just step into the lobby, where hand-painted tiles reflect the yellows and greens of the stained-glass ceiling. The air of refinement continues in the rooms, all of which are draped with fine fabrics. Many have private balconies that overlook the oval-shaped pool or the well-tended gardens. Locals frequently come by for high tea in the atrium or traditional fare in the elegant restaurant. The outdoor terrace is perfect for romantic dinners.

Old Fashioned Style and Comfort

Very inexpensive for an elegant stay if you're traveling to San Isidro or Miraflores. Service is both kind and efficient, one of the most elegant boutique hotels you could find. Associated Lima Golf Club is a great experience in and of itself. Not for the occasional US traveler, but if you're familiar with European style, it will be a special treat. Afternoon tea is an unexpected addition.
