Aero Condor flies daily from Cusco to Lima. LanPeru connects Cusco with Lima, Arequipa, Juilaca, and Puerto Maldonado. Star Perú and TACA Peru fly from Cusco to Lima. Tans Perú flies to Lima and Puerto Maldonado.

Cusco's Aeropuerto Internacional Teniente Alejandro Velasco Astete (CUZ) is about 15 minutes from the center of town. An army of taxis waits at the exit from baggage claim, and charge S/5 to take you to the city center. An Andean music band will serenade you as you wait for your luggage at the carousel. Winds and weather conditions mean most flights arrive at and depart from the airport in the morning, which does not always bode well for timely international connections in Lima.
