Fodor's Review:
You won't offend the owner if you ask, "Are you Heidi?" but that's actually the name of the mule who resides on the nearby farm where Gudrun and Karl Heinz get much of the produce for this San Blas restaurant. Breakfast means crepes and farm-fresh yogurt. Lunch and dinner yield meat and vegetarian dishes, soups and stir fries. Try the carapulcra (dried potatoes served with a tangy, spicy sauce), and save room for the Nelson Mandela cake. (The owners are great admirers.) The service is the most attentive you'll find, and a cozier place there is not on a chilly night.
